The three racing legends who not only put Hueytown Alabama on the map but helped catapult NASCAR into one of the most viewed professional sports in the United States, will appear together at the 24th Annual Race Fever on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame's SPEED Channel Dome during the AMP Energy 500 race weekend at the Talladega Superspeedway. Just the mention of the name "The Alabama Gang" makes the hearts of race fans all over the country beat a little faster and now is your chance to meet these legends of racing!
Come hear the history of the 'gang' starting when Bobby Allison left Florida in 1959 in search of better racing territory. Along for the adventure was brother, Donnie. Hear about how after a couple of short but successful weekends of racing in Alabama, Bobby returned to Florida and persuaded his hero, Red Farmer to come to Alabama. As we all know, the rest is indeed racing history! And, now is your chance to meet all three of these Hall of Fame drivers at Race Fever!
